Kyusho Jitsu is as I have said many times not a martial art in of itself. It is an advanced part of every martial art. To understand this science of pressure point self defense requires work. And Mastering Kyusho Jitsu requires a certain amount of discipline. The same discipline required to do anything in life.
Being a Kyusho Jitsu Master is not the same thing as mastering your root art. There are steps that must be taken. And they need to be taken in a certain order. So today lets take a look at this process.
First if someone you are learning from or are with in an organization tells you that "you are not ready for this %%" then you need to rethink who you are learning from.
Yes there are certain steps you need to take, things that must accomplished, however if the student can ask the question, they are ready for the answer!
Success in Kyusho Jitsu comes from having a great teacher! The diagram below was posted on Facebook by a friend Lee Milteer. I repost it here because the teacher must understand how a student learns, and how to reach them!
Check out her work! She is amazing!
Therefore when selecting someone as a teacher, it is best to find someone who will share his or her knowledge with you! There is nothing wrong with someone making good money teaching Kyusho Jitsu or anything else for that matter. But, you do not want your progress held over your head being "nickle and dimed" to death either.
Next and I have said it a million times! The student must dedicate themselves and do the work! I am better than 30 years in the martial arts teaching and have heard every excuse in the book! Make progress not excuses!
But if you really want to do something you will do it! And there is an art and discipline to this also! You need a routine, a scheduled time to study. And someone to train with to make sure you really do understand what is happening.
Plus you cannot do it without spending some money. You can get a taste of it for free anywhere, including with me. However to be successful you need access to a teacher, and the ability to ask questions and get real answers! If mastering Kyusho Jitsu is important to you, I can help!
Now as I said, you can start for free with my 30 Day Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course. That will give you real information. But it is just a beginning step. You can bypass this also, which most people do. However I suggest this course for everyone.
Next get organized course materials that offer FULL support without an extra fee!
I have a great course for the average martial art student that want to learn for themselves but are not thinking about teaching. It is called the Kyusho Jitsu Home Study Courses. Here is a link to read more!
This is a FULL Black Belt Course. There are no extra fees involved!
Now as I stated above that course gives you all you need to reach Black Belt and at a price that is about the same as one lesson in my Dojo! But it is good, not required, but good to supplement the knowledge whenever and wherever you can!
This is the benefit of attending or hosting seminars, buying eBooks and other videos. As an example last weekend I host the Romanian Martial Arts Training Camp here in Brasov. The teachings where videoed. Well not everyone can travel to a seminar, which is a great learning environment. Therefore a copy of the seminar video is the next best thing!
The video which releases next week is called RMATC RAW, you can read all about it from the link below the video. The video is an excerpt from the weekend.
It all depends on you. How quickly you want to learn or progress, and what you wish to do with the knowledge. You can email me directly if you have any questions. I am always happy to help!
