The study of pressure points is complex, and the points on the arm are the very best place to begin. Why is that? Because the arms will always present themselves first at the beginning of an attack. Attack what is attack you is a solid defense idea!
You have many points to chose from in such a defense. Understanding about 8-10 of these is really all that is needed. Knowing this many will give you access to all the major areas of the arms.
