Pressure Point Science

What is Pressure Point Science?

Pressure Point Science

Pressure Point Science

Pressure Point Science is the study of the meridians and pressure points of the human body to determine a predictable result when one or more is stimulated.  That is my basic definition, however lets look a little deeper!

What is a Pressure Point?

A pressure point is approximately the size of a pin head. However the area of activate is much larger, approximately the size of a silver dollar.  A pressure point is a place on the body where a nerve end, branches off or crosses other nerves. There are 361 on the body to chose from!

How do you attack a Pressure Point?

There are 2 types of Pressure Points for our purpose, they are either of the following:

  1. Touch
  2. Rub
  3. Hit

Some are also combination. Pressure Point need to be attacked at a 45 degree angle using 2 way action. There is no way to tell by the number which point is which or how they are properly attacked. This is all memory work and requires serious study time. However the results are worth the effort.

The pressure point science we call Kyusho Jitsu is about studying the human body and through experimentation finding what result comes when a point is attacked, and how often it can be replicated on different people.  As an example a punch to the jaw will vary greatly from person to person. However a solid strike to Gall Bladder 20 will yield the result of a knockout as long as the strike is executed properly. And there are medical reason why this happens.
