Using Chi for Combat – Vibration Energy

Chi for Combat

Chi for Combat

There is a real phenomenon for Using Chi for Combat called Vibration Energy Transfer.  There are some people who will know of this term, but not many! If you have read my son’s eBook on the topic called Chi Combat Module 2c, then you have begun to here of it and its potentials.

I first began my study of Vibration Energy Transfer before my Kyusho days while studying Kosho Ryu.  We Incorporated this and a lot of other information from this study into our root art.  In a nut shell it is the ability to increase the effectiveness of a strike with Chi energy.  Then add Kyusho, then add Dim Mak concepts and you have something really devastating!

Can it be applied to self defense? That depends on the martial artist doing it.

Chi Combat Module

For the next few days we are still offering the Chi Combat Module at a discount. This is an important module to read and practice for anyone thinking about taking our Novice Dim Mak Project Development Course. However you can plug this information right into your Kyusho Jitsu training!

Defending Knife Attacks

Defending Knife Attacks

Defending Knife Attacks

Defending Knife Attacks

There is a lot of information online about defending knife attacks. However much of it, most of what I have seen is not real. Even a lot of the very high profile stuff out there.  Too much of it is based on the idea of a knife fight. That is NOT the reality most people will face. Filipino knife fighting works great against Filipino knife fighting.  Therefore a different knowledge is needed, but I will explain.

What is needed?

Please understand there is nothing wrong with Filipino knife fighting, there is nothing wrong with Krav Maga, you should study as many different methods as possible, and incorporate them into your training, However if you think Krav Maga alone will save your life, you have not been “attacked”  by a knife yet. It is part of a solution, not the entire solution! There are other understandings and training’s you need to increase your effectiveness. Like the saying goes, don’t put all your eggs in one basket!

Kyusho Knife Defense

One of the things I see in a lot of knife defense is it is far too complicated. Opportunity to do damage by attacking pressure points is missed. Why would you not break the arm if you could rather then throw them? A broken elbow is the best “disarm!”

I also see a lot or, too much of the idea of standing ground in the line of fire.  Miss opportunity can mean disaster! Also, training, the methods and ideas behind it need a certain understanding, a certain reality!

That is why I wrote Kyusho Knife Defense. To help you take your current methods of knife defense to NEW level of EFFECTIVENESS!

This eBook/Video combination sells for $37! But right now for the next day or 2 I am going to knock $12 off with this COUPON.  Follow the LINK below to the page, and at the checkout enter the coupon code “kyushoknife” and it will take the $12 off and you will pay ONLY $25!

Defeat Any Attacker!

Shares

Defeat Any Attacker!

Defeat Any Attacker

Defeat Any Attacker

I can’t believe I saw this ad again, “Defeat Any Attacker!” The ad was specifically targeted at saying that you don’t need to learn to fight to knockout anyone who is attacking you. Now I know they are referencing pressure point strikes, even if they call them something else.

It WON’T Work!

There are people out there in the world who can defend themselves or fight without training. I was one of the them. When I was a teenager I just loved to fight. I never lost. But that was something about me internally, my psychology, and not everyone is this way.  The claim of defeat or knockout any attacker is totally bogus, but I know they have enough fine print to protect themselves.

Yes you CAN do it IF….

To defeat or knockout any attacker is very possible. But without serious training, in a solid root art the odds are almost zero. In a video from this ad they have someone fending off the attacker with a chair. Cool, but if the attacker is unarmed, and you crash the chair across his or her head, that is not self defense under the law. You cannot have a weapon unless they do!

There is no easy fix!

To increase your odds of successfully defending yourself there are things or “tools” you need. Here is a basic list of those self defense tools.

  1. A solid root art, one that incorporates self defense training into it. Not all do this, some are purely sport.  There are those who believe sport is enough. No, it is NOT enough, here is why. Sport fights go on for minutes, you don’t have minutes, this must end in SECONDS. Plus they rely on physical fitness levels that CANNOT be maintained throughout life.  A solid self defense root art will provide a great foundation to build on.
  2. The science of pressure point self defense, called Kyusho Jitsu will enhance the abilities you have developed from your root art. This is critical in order to cut down of the conflict time. The longer the defense goes the more likely you are too lose.

One Second Fighting

This is a phrased coined by Grand Master Dillman.  It is a great goal! It is also possible because of Kyusho Jitsu to be obtained.  Impact alone with not guarantee a knockout, which is the most effective way to end an attack! Now I do not talk from anything here other than personal experience. Therefore I am not someone who read a book and makes claims like so many today.

I assume since you are reading this you have a solid martial arts foundation.  Therefore I have something that will be of great interest to you!

Understanding Neurological Knockouts

It is now time to backup your physical training with knowledge of how to use pressure points to cause a neurological knockout and END an assault! This will allow you to escape, be safe and have the authorities deal with the rest of it!

Follow this LINK right NOW and get started today by adding this knowledge to your current martial art skill set!

No Touch Knockouts Dangerous?

Are No Touch Knockouts Dangerous?

Are No Touch Knockouts Dangerous?

Are No Touch Knockouts Dangerous?

Good question, are No Touch Knockouts Dangerous?? The fast answer is yes they are, however that does need some qualification! First, are you one who thinks no touch knockouts are a fraud? Why are you here?? Follow this link and read something that interest you! I am NOT a sport martial art fan, so I don’t read about it, watch it, or more importantly give an opinion, why? Because I don’t have knowledge of it, my opinion is not valid.

On to the article!

Risks in No Touch Knockouts

A No Touch Knockout causes a disruption in the Chi system of the body. Some people are very sensitive to these types of knockouts and for them it can be very dangerous. I have seen some people suffer health effects for months afterwards. Other people are just fine and recover like nothing happened. Then there are those who have walls up against it and feel NOTHING.

This is why No Touch is a science, we are trying to find ways to make it more effective on more people.

What Happens when it goes BAD?

Proper resuscitation becomes a key when No Touch goes bad. The first thing that is always done is to “wake up” the head via the “wake-up nerve” below GB-20. Next make sure there are no breathing issues. Assuming there are none,  check the Bladder Meridian for “lumps” which are pockets of stagnated energy that must be broken up. This will hurt, but it is essential for proper recovery! These happen along the spine only.

Suggested Reading and Viewing

I do suggest before you decide to try these types of high risk knockout for yourself you do some suggested reading and / or viewing. Below are 2 links that will help you on this journey immeasurably!

  1. No Touch Knockout Theories eBook
  2. No Touch Knockout Theories Video Companion

Kyusho Study Charts

Kyusho Study Charts

Kyusho Study Charts

One of the most important things you can have when learn pressure points is Kyusho Study Charts.  There are many, many different charts available online, but most are acupuncture related, and so have more information than needed. Sometimes the information is in Chinese too. Do you speak / read Chinese? I sure don’t!

14 Meridian Chart Set

Our Meridian Study Charts are images of all 12 meridians and the 2 Vessels, in addition to all points being shown for easy memorization. This 14 page PDF is printable so consequently you can add them to a book, or enlarge for wall charts.  Most of all these images were designed for me personally years ago to be specific for Kyusho Jitsu learning.

These charts are printable and of excellent quality. Also they are not crowded with unnecessary information like acupuncture charts are. These are especially relevant for Kyusho Jitsu study! Therefore these charts are a MUST!

The regular price for this set of Meridian Study Charts, like the on pictured above is ONLY $5! But if you enter the code “Charts!” with the ! you get them at HALF PRICE!

Success Tips with Kyusho Study

Success Tips with Kyusho Study

Success Tips with Kyusho Study

Success Tips with Kyusho Study

Today I am going to give you some success tips with Kyusho Study! I have now been doing the Kyusho Jitsu study for about 16 years. And yes I still consider myself to be a student. Below are what I consider to be important aspects to note!

  1. Take copious notes!  Whether you are reading a book, watching a video or attending a class. Write freehand on paper. If you want it on your device do that later. Writing freehand increases retention significantly
  2. Read as much as you can! There is a lot of information to remember in Kyusho Jitsu. Set time aside each day to do your study. Even if it is only 20 minutes.  I have seen so many students come to class once a month and remember NOTHING because they did not review. “I have no time” is an excuse, not a reason.
  3. Focus on specific areas at a time. Don’t go all over the place! As an example if you have my 15 Principles Plus One of Kyusho Jitsu don’t read cover to cover and think you “got it.” If you wish to read it once fine, but then go chapter by chapter and really learn the materials!
  4. Work your strong points! Figure out what kind of “learner” you are and surround yourself with that type of information. Perhaps you are a “visual” learner, maybe “auditory” or “kinetic.” Then focus on that type of information to help you! But do it all!
  5. Work the materials with someone. If they are not Kyusho students, teach them what you learn and have to do it on you! This will help you learn and grow!
  6. Ask questions! I am always happy to answer! There are no bad questions. Email me at master@kyushojitsu.ca

Kyusho Body Mechanics

Kyusho Body Mechanics

Kyusho Body Mechanics

What are Kyusho Body Mechanics? Every martial art has some kind of body mechanic to it.  So what is the reference to Kyusho and body mechanics really mean? Essentially that body mechanics become even more important when references are made to Kyusho Jitsu.

How we Learn

When someone is learning something new in any martial art or martial system their body mechanics tend to go out the door until the knowledge is part of them. Once they have the movements into muscle memory, then the body mechanics tend to come back.

This is one reason for failure in the science of pressure point self defense.

In the video below my son Curt shows how to use Kyusho Jitsu, with body mechanics to control a situation.

How Can you Learn More?

I so have some really good news! You can learn more about Kyusho Jitsu and Body Mechanics from an awesome 30 minute video we have on the subject! This is a recording of a live workshop done years ago! Normally we sell this workshop for $19.97, but right now you can grab it for ONLY $9.97!

Kyusho Advanced Striking Action

Kyusho Advanced Striking Action

Kyusho Advanced Striking Action

Kyusho Advanced Striking Action

In the science of pressure point self defense we have something I call Kyusho Advanced Striking Action.  Now most of you will understand that you have the basic striking actions as they relate to the different body elements.  Below is a breakdown for your review.

  • Fire – slapping
  • Metal – vibrating
  • Wood – chopping
  • Earth – penetrating
  • Water – grasping

However beyond this there is a lot more.  Now it is important to remember that Kyusho Jitsu is NOT an out of the box self defense solution. Anyone saying they have one is a LIAR. There is “some assembly required.” Which means you have to do the work!

The video below goes through some ideas to create and understand some advanced striking actions. Take a watch!

15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu

Without a solid understanding of the 15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu you will have the success, the result you are looking for! These principles are the cornerstone of success! Below is a link that will explain more about the 15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu and how you can make them work for you!
