I think of the things that is in the blood of every martial artist, is that need to pass on the information, the things they have learned to other people. I started to teach, or should I say help, at the rank of Green Belt in 2005. My instructor saw something in me, that he know I would be a good teacher. 31 years later it is how I make a living.
Teaching Kyusho Jitsu is a very exact thing. So is teaching any martial art really, but Kyusho is not a full martial art. It is an extension to any other art. It is also very system oriented.
Some students are not ready when they think they are, some have been ready a long time. The better the “style” foundation, the better the Kyusho student.
I have been teaching Kyusho for over 11 years now. And I have been fortunate enough to be taught by the best. But being a career martial artist and school owner I understand what it takes to develop great teachers. Not everyone can do it!
I love the term that floats around today. The McDojo. Well thank you! That is an amazing compliment! McDonald’s is one of the most successful companies in the world! BUT…they never said their food was good. Me on the other hand, I run my school like a system, to create great teachers like I have, and awesome students,
MY ART IS, WHAT WE TEACH IS EXCELLENT QUALITY!
McDonald’s could have GOOD food if they chose too. But they sell fast and cheap, that is their mandate.
So if you are interested in the idea of teaching Kyusho Jitsu in your school, or in private I have developed the Level One Instructor Certification Course to help you!
One of the most important things with regard to these courses, any of them, is you are NOT left alone afterward to your own vices. We are with you all the way, as you develop and make GREAT students and Black Belts
This is an interesting fact, but if you study the effect of visualization in all parts of life you see a common thread. Visualization makes things happen.
This is also true of using pressure points, or for that matter any martial art technique. Below is a video I did years ago doing a visualization on the lung meridian and a simple strike.
The difference in the effect is extreme!
This is an older video, but it is still good of a workshop we did for a group of fighters back in 2009. We all had a blast and these people are still very close to use today! In fact we share a facility with them, Kihon Karate in Windsor.
Take a watch of the video, there are a total of 3 in the series!
If you have not subscribed to our YouTube Channel please do! It helps us keep more free content coming your way!
First before I even begin I am not referring to anything on YouTube. YouTube is one of the world biggest brain dead social network societies. Yes I use YouTube to post content, but I watch very little because of the way the culture.
I have been known over the years to speak my mind. There has been a lot bad press about Kyusho, mostly due to the fact that the teachers of the art are trying to hard to legitimize it, when it does not need to be. It stands on it own just fine.
Nothing will destroy a good product faster then bad press. And the media does not have any interest in reporting the truth, only what they think can help them make money.
As for the martial arts teacher who bad mouth Kyusho and those who practice it, well they are not very good at integrity are they? Any one with low self esteem is always the first to throw stones at someone else. Perhaps they are either too lazy, or not smart enough to understand the materials.
Most like both.
Kyusho is a wonderful education, a great way to stimulate your mind in mindless world. Take a look at our FREE Mini Course to give you an idea about what Kyusho Jitsu, the Pressure Point art is all about!
There is a brutal fact I am going to tell you about, as you read this, regardless of your current age, you are getting older by the second……
But there is something you can do about it!
Today we live in a world obsessed with physical fitness, and many of these people are training like maniacs for a fight that will never happen. Bruce Lee was a prime example of this. i know martial arts Grand Master who insist on their students being able to run 10k for a Black Belt exam. There is nothing wrong with that, however it has nothing to do with martial arts.
When I was a kid and they talked about martial arts it was always that size didn’t matter. There was once truth in that, but today it is about fitness, not martial arts. No matter what you think, you cannot stay in top physical peaks of fitness all your life. And the fitness junkies are the ones that nature is the cruelest too when they slow down. Look at boxers, they pile on weight because they have abused the body so much.
In a martial art, as you grow older and wiser, you should become more deadly, not less. What is the solution? Something that has been missing from systems for years. Pressure Points…
Now I mean the real thing. I have heard and seen many instructors talk about it, but when I watch them they know little to nothing. Sorry but despite your ego, that is likely true!
But here on this website you can learn for FREE and take the AGE factor out of your martial art. We have an awesome FREE Mini Course you can access very easy here and join, but I post a ton of real working content free also.
Consider joining the KJWA (Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance) it is FREE also, and can help to enhance your learning more. After you see what Kyusho can do for your art then perhaps you may wish to study more intensively and pursue rank, but that is all up to you!

Yours in the arts,
Grand Master Art Mason
My first martial arts teacher was a very well known TaeKwonDo style fighter before it was ever an Olympic Sport. He was 7 years running as North American Grand Champion. So why do I bring this up? One night he told me the secrets to his success. He said the average TKD fighter only see what is possibly the opponents next move, a good fighter could see 3 moves ahead and a world champion 4 moves ahead.
In a sense this is also the secret to pressure point success. You need to know the basic principles so well, that you can combine them together as you are defending, which will give you a devastating effect on the attackers body!
Below is a short video that gives an very simple example of this stacking principle. The value of this cannot be overstated. When something is studied so intensely it become a normal part of your thought process, the it becomes 1000 times more effective.
Think about it, when a professional basketball player picks up a ball and shoots at the hoop, does he think about what he is doing? Does he aim? No he just does it!
We have courses to help you get this good!
Our FREE Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course being the 1st step.

I just made a huge mistake! I decided to read my Facebook timeline! Whenever I do that is tends to make my head hurt a lot, and I want to KO someone. With that in mind how about a knockout video today?
This was from several years ago of me doing a KO on Conception Vessel.

Yin and Yang, one of the most misunderstood concepts for people be it in martial arts or in general life, however that being said it is a very important principle, one of the first five, in the practice of Kyusho Jitsu!
Today I am going to give you a little video of about 4 minutes I think that touches on this concept! We do have a full seminar that is available if you are interested. It can be found here.
On to the video!
Every element in the body responds best to a particular striking action. As an example it is best to slap a Fire Meridian over say chopping at it.
The following are the basic striking actions and their corresponding meridians.
Here is a little video on the striking action for fire. I hope you enjoy!
If you would like to learn more about this and other Kyusho topics please join our Kyusho Jitsu Mini Course!!
