Knockouts in Self Defense

Is it possible to do pressure point knockouts in self defense? The answer is a resounding YES. Now they are those who do not believe this, but let me go into details why it is possible!

No matter what martial arts you train in you are taught to "target" certain areas of the body. Here is a short list of the typical favorite places to strike.

  1. Groin
  2. Throat
  3. Temple
  4. Eyes

Just 4 examples of places you can strike. Now tell me, how are you able to do this? They are not large areas. So how is this possible? Because you train for them, right? So if the above is true, why can you not strike a pressure points?

Are you aware that all 4 of those examples are places the subconscious mind will automatically, by instinct protect? This makes these targets harder to access than people think. However the brain will NOT automatically protect a pressure point, making them accessible targets.

What is a Pressure Point Knockout?

A pressure point knockout is what is referred to as a Neurological Knockout. Below is a definition of one.

NEUROLOGICAL

"Caused by a short circuit, overload, or imbalance in the central nervous system (involving both the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems). This can be using Kyusho Jitsu techniques. It may also be caused by extreme stress, emotions, shock, or extreme trauma to any area of the body (a broken or crushed limb for example). This kind of knockout can also be chemically induced (alcohol, toxins, allergies)."

This is what neurological pressure point knockouts are all about!
