The statement above is one of the most important truths any martial artist should realize. When in an altercation that has gone to violence the situation needs to ended FAST and someone who is unconscious is not going to continue to fight.

This is the main reason for learning Kyusho Jitsu / Pressure Point fighting is to end this conflict in the shortest time possible. Many call Kyusho “one second fighting.”

Through the years and continuing today many martial arts students and master work to HIT HARDER, training to harden different parts of the their bodies, just to increase the power through muscle mass. But have you not yet figured out that does not help in the real life?

Look at cage fighters. These guys beat each other HARD, but continue to fight. That cannot happen on the street, it would mean death.  Ring fighters don’t have friends with knives and gun, and don’t care concealed weapons. This must end FAST.

You need to know WHERE to hit, and the reasons WHY you will get a result. Power alone is NOT ENOUGH.
